Tom and Lyn welcomed us as soon as we arrived at their Airbnb. They provided us with a generous amount of food for breakfast and we appreciated that they turned on the heater for us before our arrival in the middle of winter. It was handy to have Tom and Lyn right next door to us to answer our questions but we still felt like we had our own space staying their unit.
Tom and Lynette are awesome! They were very welcoming and always friendly with a big smile on their faces. The accomodation was lovely it had everything we needed and much much more. Not to the mention the gorgeous view right outside the accomodation. We will be back as soon as we can!
A great place to stay to explore Cradle Mountain, Mt Roland, Mt Claude, Mole Creek, Gunns Plains and Levon Canyon. Everything was spot on! Tom and Lyn provide all these little extras in the kitchen - much appreciated. The air conditioner made the unit very comfortable whilst temperatures outside went below zero overnight. The bed was comfy. We travelled into Sheffield to eat on 2 nights - 12 mins. Be aware after dark, travel slowly and watch out for the 'roos. The Sheffield pub meals were great , Chinese was OK but nothing to rave about, and the RSL was a good friendly drinking hole. We decided to visit the Gunns Plains Caves and didn't need to do the Mole Creek caves, from all reports; we went to the best one. Only 45 minutes to Dove Lake Cradle Mountain. As we went through Mole Creek we had lunch at the quirky "Cafe Bozzy" - worth a stop. And went into Alum Cliffs - do not miss that walk! Overall a very enjoyable 3-4 days in the area just using the one spot to stay. The only thing missing was a decent internet coverage, so no streaming Netflix etc. Understand they should be fixed in the next 12 months.
We spent a lovely few days here at Tom and Lyn's place. Really well-equipped unit with everything you need to be comfortable. Peaceful surroundings - occasional kookaburra! Thoughtful treats and lovely breakfast supplies. Tom and Lyn are excellent hosts - readily available and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend :)
My husband and I had a fabulous time at Tom & Lynetteís! Especially after a long day at Cradle Mountain. Pity we only stayed for a night. We also enjoyed the small personal touches that made our stay even more worthwhile. The views are spectacular and itís truly one of a kind!
